Patterson Cup to be played at Bassendean on Friday night
Bassendean and Cambridge will play their Premier League fixture under lights on Friday as they come together to honour the life of Daniel Patterson.
The two sides will compete for the Patterson Cup, acknowledging the contribution Daniel made to both clubs.
Daniel was a much loved and respected member of the bowling community prior to his tragic passing in August last year.
All are welcome and encouraged to come to the game to pay their respect.
The Patterson cup is played over two legs and will be awarded to the side that has the best aggregate across the two pennant games each season. The Knights take a commanding lead into the second leg having won all four rinks with an aggregate margin of 54 shots in round one at Cambridge.
Cambridge come into the game in third while Bassendean are seventh on a very tight ladder and have the advantage of playing at home.
The Bassendean Bowling Club kitchen is open with $15 meals of burgers, pork scallopini, or chicken parmy, all served chips/salad. Plus $7 pints available
Bassendean Bowling Club will also be live streaming the action from 7.00pm via their Facebook Page.
