Heat Rule Clarification
With some hot days on the forecast, Bowls WA has sent a clarification to all Metro clubs regarding the heat rules that apply for the Metropolitan Pennant Competitions.

Players are reminded to please support the Umpire of the Day in the application of the rules, remembering our Umpires are volunteers and often fellow players who are simply trying to implement the rules as written.
Secondly, players are reminded to exercise their own caution with regard to the heat. Different temperatures may affect people differently. Competition rules can only be made in a general sense, so if you find yourself feeling unwell, we certainly encourage you to make someone aware of that and take action as necessary.
